Tested by explorers, mountaineers and scientists in the most challenging of conditions. The Explorer II set new standards for precision, strength, and clarity. Larger and more rugged than its predecessor, the Explorer II features an additional hand that rotates around the face of the watch once per 24 hours, which allows you to keep track of daylight hours or a second time zone thanks to the hacking-hour hand. This Explorer II, reference 16570 was produced from 1989 until 2011 and comes set in a 40mm stainless steel Oyster case with engraved 24 hour bezel. The watch features a clean black dial with striking red GMT hand, Superluminova dot hour markers and matching hands as well as the classic date feature at 3 o`clock. This Explorer II is equipped with the automatic calibre 3185 chronometer movement and comes fitted on the stainless-steel Oyster link bracelet with folding clasp. Originally purchased in December 2004 and in mint condition for its age, this Explorer II comes with its original inner and outer Rolex boxes, instruction booklet, Oyster booklet, leather warranty holder, calendar card, translation booklet, Rolex service booklet, Rolex service card (July 2014) and perforated international warranty paperwork.
