Developed for people who work in places where it is impossible to keep track of time according to the position of the sun, such as in caves or in polar regions, the Explorer ii is structured around a 24-hour display of the time. Equipped with Cal. 3185, a movement capable of independent correction of the short hand, it is also possible to display dual time using the 24-hour hand and the short hand. In 2007, the movement was replaced by the Cal. 3186 with an improved independent correction of the short hand and a Parachrom balance spring, which was produced until 2011. Comments.
